Who We Are

This site is a project of Sustainable Future, Inc., a non-partisan, 501(c) (3) organization. Sustainable Future, Inc.’s mission is to increase public awareness and understanding of environmental issues through the media and educational programs, and to advocate for appropriate public policy solutions. Our goals are to create new ways for people to learn about the challenges we face, and what they can do to solve them.

Questions for Candidates is our first effort toward those goals. The questions in the broad questionnaire illustrate how seemingly abstract issues like energy policy and global warming are actually related to the day-to-day experiences of nearly all Americans. The site provides a novel way to act on that awareness, by reaching out to candidates for Congress and engaging them on these issues. Awareness combined with action is a powerful force for change, and we hope that you will become part of the force by participating in and spreading the word about this website.
